Centre Update
​Our Centre is open year round to support the families of our community. Our program is large, over 2500 square feet with onsite outdoor play spaces! ​We have 2 onsite outdoor play areas...one for 24 3/5 children, and a second for 12 Infant Toddlers.
We are offering care from 10 months to 5 yrs.
High levels of health and safety, sanitation is being practiced and we ensure thorough hand washing and cleaning of all surfaces and toys several times a day.

Our Programs
Learning Through Play
The educational programs at Bluebirds Early Learning Childcare are created with our children’s needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. Take a look below to learn more about each program.
Infant and Toddler Program
Our Infant & Toddler Program is licensed for 12 children per day, with a staff ratio of 1 teacher to 4 children. We offer care for children aged 10 mths – 36 months of age.

The first priority of the teachers in the Infant and Toddler room is to help make the transition from home to childcare as smooth as possible for both child(ren) and parents.
​
Our program will offer structure and routine that encourages learning in a diverse group and inclusive setting. Children will be taught to respect one's self, others, and the environment around them; language and social development; cognitive skills-math sequencing etc, literary development.

While the Infant/Toddler Program is open, flexible and nurturing in nature attending to the individual needs of each child, while
encouraging consistent routines, scheduled learning activities and social group play takes place that will enhance the
development of all areas of growth.

3/5 Program
Our Group Day Care room is licensed for 24 children per day, with a staff ratio of 1 teacher to 8 children. We offer care for children aged 3 to 5 years of age.

Bluebirds incorporates a school-readiness component to the daily program; program planning is based on curricular themes, loosely
incorporating Montessori and Reggio Emilia teachings and philosophies with open-ended, emergent, and responsive planning. We emphasize the importance of mannerisms, respecting oneself, one another, and the environment.
​
We believe that at this stage of growth, that children learn best through a balance of play and structured activities. The teachers strive to create an environment that provides children with the tools to communicate their needs with others while enforce a sense of ownership and develop autonomy, a strong sense of self-esteem self-worth and confidence.
